These were taken at the U6 train station Gumpendorferstrasse, 15th district of Vienna.
This is one of the older stations that were built in Vienna dating as far back as 1898. The structure and architecture does spell ancient but this does add to the character of this train stop.
Last year, it underwent renovation as some of the stations too, the newly painted walls unfortunately became target for shoe graffiti.
