The Emmys did a cappella. Emmysโ producers wanted something different and so they created a musical group called the Emmingtons (the Emmy tones). The group introduced four of the major Award categories (the drama, comedy, reality and miniseries)ย by singing. The Emmingtons were Chuck star Zachary Levi, Communityโs Joel McHale, NCIS: Los Angelesโ LL Cool J, Person of Interestโs Taraji P. Henson, Awakeโs Wilmer Valderrama, How I Met Your Motherโs Cobie Smulders and The Officeโs Kate Flannery.
ย ยThe guys were clad in black-gold suits and the ladies in turkish dress tubes making the ensemble so cute. And yes, their acts were as cute as they look.
