During our last vacation, I learned thatย Sir Jere has been volunteering for the OFW Journalism Consortium. The consortium aims to deliverย reportage about Filipinosโ international migration and other related issues. Reading about, I learned that he has been writing about remittances from Filipinos working abroad while working on a research that later on won the competition. The research proposal was titled โRemittance Investment Climate Analysis for Rural Hometowns (Ricart): Piloting a Tool to Determine where Overseas Filipinos from Two Rural Hometowns can Best Invest their Money.โ
