The song lyrics effectively gives you a feeling of longing not only for the singer but to those she loves most, his mom. I can’t help but cry when I listen to this song. As mentioned, I hold on to the promise of John 5:28 – yet, imperfect as could be I could only but long to see my dad who I haven’t seen in almost 7 years and would not until the promise is fulfilled.
