If there’s one decision I regret in life, it would be when I said no to my parents when they asked me if I want to learn playing the piano. My older sister was the only one who learned and up until now she plays…I would still want to, given the time but for now I’m satisfied bringing my daughter to her lessons every Thursday.
I seriously need to record more of my daughter’s playing. This was when she was still learning Ode to Joy (ode written in 1785 by Friedrich Schiller, musical setting by Ludwig van Beethoven in the final movement of his Ninth Symphony). – A year ago.
She can now play this better along with other Beethoven’s easy pieces and some of Carl Czerny’s.
