The Emmys did a cappella. Emmys’ producers wanted something different and so they created a musical group called the Emmingtons (the Emmy tones). The group introduced four of the major Award categories (the drama, comedy, reality and miniseries) by singing. The Emmingtons were Chuck star Zachary Levi, Community’s Joel McHale, NCIS: Los Angeles’ LL Cool J, Person of Interest’s Taraji P. Henson, Awake’s Wilmer Valderrama, How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders and The Office’s Kate Flannery.
The guys were clad in black-gold suits and the ladies in turkish dress tubes making the ensemble so cute. And yes, their acts were as cute as they look.
