A view from our balcony. Since the sun sets on the other side, I see lots of sunrises and no sunsets. So I took one shot when I was on my way home, just before crossing the street where the setting sun is visible.

I was 5 days short of being 20 years old when I had my first child. Sort of still a teener, back then hubby and I trying to make ends meet in our simple married life. Hubby then left for Vienna when our daughter was just 4 months old...he wasn't there to see her physically grow.

We followed hubby to Vienna a year after, and maybe its because they haven't seen each other that they grew close together, a Papa's girl.

I promised (myself) that when I'm home, I'd definitely try  for myself those food places that fellow bloggers recommended or criticized. Well, the days were short and I just do not have much lust to go around with the heat followed by light rains throughout the day.

Since we live near Trinoma and SM West, it was an easy stop for us to shop and wander about.  I looked about and there I saw the sign: Tokyo Tokyo!  So I told hubby let's try and compare...the salmon that is!

I had to secretly laugh when I heard the cashier greeted, "Konnichiwa ma'am" in a very wrong intonation. hihi

I ordered for hubby and I only since the kids opted for burgers. We took out orders for them from Burger King and its a good thing we were'nt told off not to bring them in at Tokyo Tokyo.

Much to my disappointment, the orange-y color of the salmon doesn't make it as fresh as it should. I do not know which part of the fish the slices are from but they were definitely too thinly cut for me and even the serving of beni shouga was just too less.

Shrimp and vegetable tempura were hubby's choices. I'd of course dip my chopsticks in his bento a bit too. I don't remember anything special...oh! one of the staff was giving rice to everyone but we didn't ask for seconds since the rice we had was just enough for the tempura serving.

Next would be california rolls shown here with the red iced tea I ordered. We liked that tea so much fortunately the maki rolls as well even though its only surimi and pickled radish in it...I'd prefer avocado and shrimp...but I have no complains...I should have ordered more.

Then there's the siopao asado...I always look for a particular taste of siopao so if at first bite  I don't get that taste it would also be the last. Buti na lang their siopao was that tender and  flavory with really good flavored asado!

I was able to finish half, kasi kay hubby yung half hehe. I think the little boy ate some of the other piece.

All in all I'd say 3.5 out of 5 for Tokyo Tokyo Trinoma...I was only bothered with something and

its not about food from this establishment...While by the cashier placing my order I was looking at the cash registry and saw 285.00 there so I looked for an exact amount of money and got it ready. The cashier though said I'd be paying 460+ so I was a little confused, I added (estimated) all our orders and it does sum up

closer to 460 than 285 so off I went to the table with my tray (red tea not yet included) as the 3 boys and dawty wait. I told hubby about the receipt (I'll upload the photo later) and I explained to him my "hunch" about the whole thing. A waiter came to bring our red tea so I showed him and explained that the salmon were not in the receipt. He took it and went to the cashier but since the cashier is out of sight I wasn't exactly sure what he did hehe. He came back to inform me that 'ok na po.' So I just dismissed it...mind you, some of the crew were eyeing me afterwards. So, what if (this is me in an investigative and paranoid mode) are deliberately not punching in our orders then getting the excess money we paid when they do the inventory. You might have heard of it before...friends of mine who used to work at fast food chains told me that it does happen...Someone orders upto thousand and the cashier punches only a 100 bucks so she goes home with 900 in her pocket no?  I hope not...I just saw too much dishonesty and distrust from the people...too much desperation...no wonder I hear many said they would willingly be Philippine heroes and be written down in our history books soon. How? Ah...by assassination of the President!

My daughter would take flute lessons again, my older son said he wants to learn the guitar and it's convenient too since hubby bought him a guitar years ago while I am not sure for my 3 year-old yet. When we were looking for furnitures and stuff to fit our home, I listed down a lot of 'I likes.' Most of them were contemporary furniture which was the opposite of what really hubby liked. We bought an L-shaped leather sofa, unfortunately, it looks beaten now, after 5 years of enduring being jumped on by the kids.

Bevor mein Leben als Mutter, ich war eine Verfasserin und Fotografin, die ich lebhaft mache. Ich habe auch einmal  davon geträumt Schriftstellerin zu sein. Ich lese gerne Bücher egal aus welchem Art. Ob es Roman oder Sachbuch,  mit der Thema Historie oder Biografie, es spielt keine Rolle. Deswegen möchte ich auch selbst ein Buch zu schreiben.

Jetzt mit drei Kinder ist dieser Traum am Hintergrund meines Lebens gestellt. Aber ich habe auch drei süße Subjekt für Porträtfotografie. Die sind auch immer dabei, mit ihren herzlichen Lächeln wenn ich "smile" sage.

Wii games such as tennis, bowling and golf are some of the games we (kids, hubby and I) enjoy. Believe you me, these games actually make one perspire a lot. When time won't permit me to visit the gym like I used to, I'd spend half an hour or so playing tennis with hubby, when he's too busy the kids would be willing opponents. Wii tennis also helped them a lot that during tennis practice games, they're able to hit the ball than most kids ;) .

I've read positive reviews about Wii Fit and the balance board as well.

There's just too much talk about Evolution versus Creationism. Though those who uphold Evolution did lots of research and stuff to prove it, I still believe what the flowers, the bees, the birds, the ants even the spiders have to say.

Death, perhaps for everyone, is an enigma that's so hard to accept.

When death strikes, eveyrone in the family, as well as other relatives and friends are often at a loss, mostly asking the question 'why did this happen?'

The bible urges us to weep with those who weep. Helping a bereaved person calls for compassion, discernment, and much love on one's part. We should not wait for the bereaved one to come to us. We should not simply say, "If there’s anything I can do . . ." Find that "anything" , and then take the appropriate initiative.

I have seen people become devastated because of the death of someone they love...though uncalled for, the verses below are the only comforting words I can give...

"Death is swallowed up forever. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?"—1 Corinthians 15:54-55

By the way, the big rocks and drift wood were taken from the lake, the kids helped us picked some lake stones too hihi.

Dandelion

We also bought three puffer fishes. In this video, one has died already because of some white infection stuck to its skin, you can hear (then 2 year-old) Charlie telling his Daddy repeatedly: 'Patay na kugel(fisch)!' (german for puffer fish). Another one is being quarantined which also died later on after being squeezed by Charlie...lol. There are 5 malawis in this video, the smallest is a fry from the previous batch.You'll also see spongebob! There are plastic and authentic plants now and a heater too!

Sad as it may, the fishes died again, one after the other. Only one of the malawis remained in the tank were we used to quarantine the fishes (10x10cm tank). We had it later sold in ebay, a complete set with fish and stone backdrop. For 40 euros ain't bad hah!

Eiffel Tower

Regrets about Paris-I knew that Monday, September 17 would rain since I looked at the weekly forecast before we left. So I suggested that we visit Paris on Saturday or Sunday then go to Disneyland afterwards. Hubby was a little stubborn. So we came up with gray skies that does not complement the beauty of Eiffel tower. =(
