As part of the butterfly-learning activity at my son’s kindergarten we went to the butterfly house. The kids also took care of some caterpillars for a week until they turn into butterflies. They let them free one lovely morning. So photo above was taken at the butterfly house located at the back of the Hofburg Palace…where all of Vienna’s emperors used to live and now serves as the President’s official residence.
The butterfly house is like being at home (in the Philippines) – in our garden; there were chinese lanterns, candle tops and lantana camaras.
At the kindergarten they have lots of drawings and artworks related to butterflies. This is one that they made. That’s my little boy putting back the colored pencils on their proper glasses.

Those butterfly projects are beautiful. Good job D! Late visit from Colorful Weekend. HERE is my entry. Thanks and hope to see you around!
The kindergarten there looks like a lot of fun. I don’t remember having so much activity like that when I was at that stage. Except for a field trip in Wild Life but sadly no butterfly garden for us.
Visiting via Colorful Weekend. Here’s my entry: I love Sqwishland Pets
