Sunny Day
Sweepin’ the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet
Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Sesame Street
Come and play
Everything’s A-OK
Friendly neighbors there
That’s where we meet
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Sesame Street
It’s a magic carpet ride
Every door will open wide
To Happy people like you–
Happy people like
What a beautiful
Sunny Day
Sweepin’ the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet
Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Sesame street…
How to get to Sesame Street
How to get to…

Survey says Sesame Street has been viewed in over 140 countries and that’s in 2009. I bet like me, you are one of those kids. Back when we were learning how to count in our mother tongue, we were also learning how to count in English via Sesame Street. You certainly know Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie and Bert, Elmo, Oscar and even the almost disappearing Mr. Aloysius Snuffleupagus.
You definitely know the name behind all these puppets. That’s master and pioneer puppeteer, terrific doodler and creative artist Jim Henson, who turns 75 today. Google doodle gives honor to Henson with their digital puppetry feature where we, googlers, can try our hands, literally, with puppetry. There are 5 puppets each representing the GOOGLE letters as most doodles have been done before. You have to move around your mouse, click and do stuff to make them move or do tricks.
The kids and I can only do two as of now. Make the red O puppet’s spectacles flip by jiggling your mouse under it. By refreshing the page then selecting green L and make it look at the red E, the latter will eat the former. We’ll be adding what else we’ll discover.
