Perhaps you’ve read in newspapers or a friend’s blog about photos being stolen, edited and getting published without the author’s consent. I for one is against this as it is clearly stealing…plain and simple.
I have been on the lookout for software or anything that would make me detect my photos that were stolen. I was glad about copyscape but they would detect only words so I was really glad when I learned about Tineye, a site that could detect photos from the url you enter or photos that you upload. They will even detect altered photos…the database is still in the process of expanding their photo files but I see a great potential in this, so go ahead and visit their site and check if your most valued photo has landed in other websites.
Hey! This is a good find! Thanks for sharing! I have already asked for an invitation, and I hope to use this facility soon!
Cheers!
