Grandmaster of Origami, Akira Yoshizawa gets a nod from google with today’s doodle. Yohizawa -san has created 50,000 origami models (of which I can perhaps only do 3 , lol). Origami, the art of paper folding, has fascinated my kids and I since and once in a while we would make a few and learn some more.
Below is a picture frame I hanged by our door, I placed paper cranes that I received from Japanese friends during an international convention. On the right are some of my daughters folded papers, a crane, a frog and a paper ball which she took fascination on lately.
