To those who have lost their father earlier on, this song surely will bring tears to their eyes…it did to me. Jessica’s rendition of this Luther Vandross’ hit connected well the emotions that the song strongly portrays. I’ve once featured another version of this song on this blog and was so glad that Jessica picked it for her American Idol Season 11 Top 6 performance.
Many Idol contestants have sung this before but the judges would all agree that Jessica’s version is so far the best. Am no AI judge but I agree too!
